GDA served as the waterproofing contractor for the UT Southwestern DFW Area Psychiatric Hospital, which includes the Adult, Pediatric, and Garage facilities located at the southwest corner of Harry Hines Boulevard and Medical District Drive. The project scope consisted of approximately 40,000 square feet of blindside waterproofing at soil retention walls. This work required extensive detailing, particularly around soil anchor plates, utilizing GCP Applied Technologies’ Preprufe 275 waterproofing system. The scope’s Complexity required coordination with shotcrete subcontractor, sequencing and performance leak-free install, QA/QC.
